I remember feeling the same way at the beginning of each school year when I was a kid! The only time in my life when that desire to learn has truly been fulfilled was when I went to college and since I've been teaching my own children!

Does anyone remember the name of the reading program she mentioned? I think it would be perfect for my daughter, but I couldn't get it written down fast enough…

I love this presentation! She had such great points. The one thing I took away the most was about being careful what you expose your children to, especially with books and researching the author. Also, the point about children losing their faith in college because a conversion has happen. Wow, lots of great advise & insight. Will be purchasing her books for more info.
