Nurturing Competent Communicators

This live presentation will air on:

Tuesday - April 5th at 3pm Pacific

This workshop will be taught in the 2016 Ultimate Homeschool Bootcamp- REGISTER HERE for live access!

Many parents think that good readers will naturally become good writers. Others think that writing talent is just that—a natural ability—some have it, others don’t. Both are myths. History and modern research show very clearly how good writers develop and demonstrate the two most critical things needed for a high level of aptitude in writing. With humor and insight, Andrew will share the two easy but unbelievably powerful things you can do to build language patterns and nurture competent communicators in your family.

More about Andrew Pudewa:

Andrew is the founder, principal speaker, and director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing. Presenting throughout North America, he addresses issues relating to teaching, writing, thinking, spelling, and music with clarity, insight, practical experience, and humor. His seminars for parents, students, and teachers have helped transform many a reluctant writer and have equipped educators with powerful tools to dramatically improve students’ skills. Although he is a graduate of the Talent Education Institute in Japan (Suzuki Method) and holds a Certificate of Child Brain Development, his best endorsement is from a young Alaskan boy who called him “the funny man with the wonderful words.” He and his beautiful, heroic wife Robin are parents of seven, grandparents of five, and educators of their two youngest children at home in Oklahoma’s Green Country. http://iew.com/

Thank you. Your presentation convicted my husband to replace some of the screen time in the evening with reading to our 14-y-o and last child at home. Our older ones loved listening to him read Swiss Family Robinson!

I had to miss the end of this last evening, and would like a way to pick up where I left off. When I paused it a moment ago, it restarted at the beginning again. As wonderful as Mr. Pudewa's presentation, I don't have time to listen to it 3 times. 🙂
