Homeschooling – Things We Wish We had Known

This workshop was taught in the 2015 Not Back to School Summit - REGISTER HERE for FREE live access to our next summit!

It takes many years to master any profession, including that of a homeschooling parent. Unfortunately, we start out with no experience whatsoever. In this workshop, Diana Waring and Jay Wile will share with you what they have learned as a result of their homeschooling journeys. They will discuss the important goals of home education, various teaching models, learning styles, tailoring education to fit individual students, and how to include practical experience in academics. Combining both practical insights and educational principles, this workshop will aid new homeschoolers as well as experienced ones.
