Predictable Parenting for Families Who Need Less Anxiety and Stress

Everyone has some anxiety, but children have more. And, children with special needs, due to processing or developmental difficulties, often times have still more anxiety. Developing a parenting communication and problem solving style that decreased anxiety was one of the key things I did as a foster parent for the diverse group of youth who went through treatment care in my home. Children want to be understood, and parents want to understand. But, sometimes the day to day problems that need to be solved get in the way of a good parent/child bond and understanding. This class will give parents skills they need to become more predictable parents so that everyone's anxiety can decrease and understanding increases.

When it comes to parenting, Nicholeen Peck is a worldwide phenomenon and leader — and for good reason! Her proven system based on Four Simple Skills transforms even the most out-of-control teenagers and homes from chaos to calm within days. Though she's an international speaker, author, mentor, former foster parent of many difficult and troubled teens, and even President of the Worldwide Organization for Women (an approved consultant for the United Nations), Nicholeen spends most of her time at home with her husband and four children, which she knows will be her greatest impact and legacy.
