Scheduling and Planning to Have Fridays Off

Scheduling and Lesson Planning – How to Have Fridays Off –
How do parents find time to attend park days and field trips without sacrificing the academics?  How do you still do these things when one or more of your kids doesn’t want to do their assignments?  Are your kids doing lessons until late at night with no end in sight?  Do you want to be able to visit the library a couple of times a month without feeling guilty that you have sacrificed important academic lessons?  Have you ever wondered about block scheduling, teaching multiple ages, or even having time to get household chores done? In this presentation, I’m going to show you how I was able to get in a very full, enriching curriculum, accomplish great things in just four days a week, and still have time for Friday park day, Friday field trips, and library days, and do co-ops, travel around and speak with other group leaders, and have plenty of time for developing my own interests, which we all know is very important.  Note:  This presentation is specifically helpful for parents who are utilizing a virtual charter school or virtual online academy where they are required to adhere to a particular curriculum.
